I’m Kayla — photographer, storyteller, and someone who’s always believed that the best moments in life aren’t staged, they just happen. I’m here for the real stuff: the hugs that last a little too long, the quiet looks across a room, the belly laughs that shake your whole body. To me, photography isn’t about creating something perfect, it’s about saving the little pieces of a day you never want to forget. The ones you’ll still feel decades from now, like sunshine you can hold onto.
I’m based in Texas (but always up for an adventure!) and I’m here to make this whole experience feel easy, comfortable, and personal — the way it should be. Whether you’re getting married in your hometown church or under a big open sky, I’ll be there to document it all in a way that feels true to you. Traveling has always been a huge part of my heart. Along with photography, I also spend my days as a teaching aide for a Kindergarten Special Needs class. I’ve always believed that every moment and everyone holds a story waiting to be told. Maybe that’s why I fell in love with both photography and teaching—one lets me freeze fleeting moments in time, while the other allows me to witness the incredible growth of the little minds I work with every day. Whether in the classroom or behind the camera, I find so much joy in capturing the magic of everyday life.

Kayla was so amazing!! My husband and I got the most beautiful photos to remember our Utah vacation. She knew exactly how to pose us and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. She was very adventurous and helped us get the perfect shot. I got home and immediately hung my faves all around my house and guests always compliment them and say they look like art.
